So I'm Matt and I've been qualified since june 2022 and it's been a great journey so far and things have been going really well and only hope to continue that way.

I'm a outgoing and chatty barber that loves my job and I enjoy delivering great cuts and to see those smiles from everyone that leave my chair I believe I'm a barber that covers a wide range of hair styles and hair type and I always love a challenge just a few years in to my career and I want to keep improving.

As some of my clients already know I have many hobbies that I love to do as well as cutting hair couple are snooker and golf so if that pops up in our chat in the chair I may start rambling.

so if you are one client that is in need of a restyle or someone that would like a safe space to chat my chair is always there at the price of a haircut and you can guarantee I'm always hear to listen to any issues in your life.

Hi, I’m Alex – the Alternative Barber!

I’ve been qualified for a few years now and first discovered my passion for cutting hair during lockdown.

My chair welcomes everyone – from those rocking bold, alternative styles to clients after something more classic. I’m proud to provide a safe, inclusive space for diverse & different clients and anyone who values a relaxed, judgment-free environment.

I also specialise in SEN (Special Educational Needs) haircuts, running a dedicated ‘SEN Sunday’ each week for clients who find the usual busy, noisy shop setting overwhelming. Because I believe that no matter what challenges you face, everyone deserves a good haircut and the confidence that comes with it
